Design
This pushchair is definitely one of Joie’s most attractive designs to date – sleek and classy with a modern, streamlined design. The colour ways are smart with the fabrics adopting a two-ply construction that is strong and thick and feels expensive.
Seat Unit
The seat, front and rearward facing, is a good wide, padded chair. While it lacks the depth and side cushioning of some of its competitors, it does offer plenty of growing room with confidence in it’s ability to comfortable accommodate a big 4 year old. It easily reclines to five positions; including a lie flat, for lots of flexibility.
The seat’s extended hood includes an extension panel that provides excellent protection. The peekaboo window is a nice extra that lets in natural light for baby and enables you to keep a watchful eye when the hood is fully extended.
Carrycot
Great news – included in the price is the carrycot (other brands please take note!) The carrycot is really spacious and deep that means that babies will feel secure and cocooned on the soft, breathable foam mattress. The size also means that it can be used for a slightly longer duration than most standard pushchair carrycots.
Fold
In our opinion, one of the best features of the Chrome DLX is the one-handed easy fold. Because it’s what parents want and love, the pushchair can fold with the chair featuring in either direction and without the need to remove the seat. This fuss-free feature is a godsend to parents that need a pushchair that will work well within busy lives.
As a folded unit, it’s pretty compact and stows away into smaller spaces neatly.
Manoeuvre
Chunky all-terrain tyres cut through a wide range of landscapes with ease for a really smooth and calm stroll. It’s also a fairly light pushchair, a great feature if you’re planning on using the pushchair for lots of walks and outings as it carries heavy loads well.
