This weekend if you’re in capital city, get yourself down to East London for the Royal Wharf Summer Fete. Taking place from 11am to 6pm on Saturday 25thSeptember, it promises to be a fab day out…and bonus the early forecast tells us the sun will be making an appearance!
The Royal Wharf Park will come to life for the day with feel-good summer festival vibes. Adults will delight at the range of gastronomic food and beverage vendors, including hand crafted dumplings and traditional fish and chips to enjoy by the riverside, you can also pick up a variety of mouth-watering bites to eat or sip on a colourful cocktail!
Meanwhile kids will love the jumbo garden games, face painters, balloon modellers and magic on offer!
The fete will also showcase the wealth of locally based talent, including a creative art corner featuring resident artists. Throughout the day there will be live acoustic music performances from 8 piece brass band Das Brass, steel pan player Debra Eden and DJ Lucia.
If this wasn’t enough, for those seeking a healthy start to the day, free workouts will be held at the event. Local PT Edvinas Krocas will run a fitness class on the green, while popular Bootcamp class, One Element, is running a HIT class, both at 10AM.
Situated close to Pontoon Dock station on the DLR or Uber Boat by Thames Clipper via the Royal Wharf Pier, the all-day fete is the perfect fun day out for all.
