Bee on the Lookout

With the glorious stretch of sunshine recently, it’s the perfect time to get outdoors. One of IF’s long-standing favourites, Blenheim Palace, offers the ideal setting to enjoy the summer rays while exploring a landmark rich in Great British history.

This year, there’s an extra buzz in the air, quite literally, as Blenheim hosts its very first ‘Bee on the Lookout’ Eco Count. It’s a mix of fun and learning, perfect for little adventurers and curious grown-ups too.

All summer long, you can follow the new Rowse Honey Nature Trails, meandering through the palace’s gardens and parklands, keeping an eye out for minibeasts. Armed with a map and checklist you receive on arrival; you can choose from two different routes. Every creature you spot gets logged online, with the grand total revealed at the end of the summer, a fun way to get involved and also see just how much wildlife resides on the grounds

And we cannot mention Blenheim Palace without mentioning the new Pip and Posy Adventure Play Area. Bursting with colour, creativity, and plenty of places to climb, slide, and explore, since it’s unveil a couple of months back, it is quickly becoming a family favourite. The water play zone is an absolute saviour in the summer heat, offering endless splashes and laughter, while the imaginative design ensures there’s something to delight children of all ages. For more information and to set up a visit this summer, visit https://www.blenheimpalace.com/whats-on/events/rowse-honey-nature-trails/
